12月17日，由省作家协会、四川日报社、省图书馆联合主办的“红色文学轻骑兵•百场讲座进基层”暨省图书馆“21市州讲座联盟”活动在通江县沙溪初级中学举行，巴中市作协党组书记赵邦秀，市作协主席周东，市作协专职副主席王伟出席活动。市内作家、文学爱好者近100人聆听讲座。
讲座开始前，赵邦秀代表市作协向沙溪初级中学捐赠文学书籍200多册。

讲座中，周东结合自己的人生经历、创作经历，以《从“小时候”出发》为题进行了文学创作交流。他倡导文学创作者要带着思考读好书、多读书、博览群书；要善于观察生活、捕捉灵感；要不断发现和归纳创作中存在的不足；要通过丰富的生活实践，勤学苦练、日积月累，不断提升创作水平。他希望，文学创作者要深入基层、扎根人民，从现实生活中汲取养分，创作出富有时代气息和生活气息的好作品。（李晓军）
